Your first visit at Kare Dental… What to expect in your Dental Complimentary Consultation:
Most people are familiar with the typical dental check-up visit. At Kare Dental our hygienist will clean your teeth, do an evaluation, observe signs of decay, gums health, signs of infections and x-rays if necessary.
It’s very important to let us know about your medical history and your experience with you previous dentist, we want to understand and know any changes in your health. Researches claim that periodontal infection can affect your blood sugar levels for example, and this can make your diabetes harder to control. Also, if you decide to proceed with a treatment with us depending on your health conditions we may need to change the type of anesthesia.
Please bring a list of allergies and medicines you take to your dental consultation at Kare Dental. We need to know everything that can help us to serve you better, to diagnose problems and understand your needs.
Tell us about your overall health, dental health and even your fears, (many people have fear of the dentist since childhood), treatment techniques change constantly, the things you fear most may no longer exist, sometimes there are improved ways of dealing with certain issues. Talk to us!
